Let’s take a closer look at the steps a reverse osmosis system includes.

• Stage 1 – (SED) 20″ Slim Line Sediment Filter

The water passes through a high capacity polypropylene sediment filter. It’s a 20-inch Slim line filter that removes all the larger particles up to 5 microns, including rust, dust and sediment. So it removes the particles that can affect the taste and color of the water or could potentially clog the system.

• Stage 2 – (GAC) 20″ Slim Line Granular Activated Carbon Filter

For the second stage , Hydronix  incorporates a granular activated 20-inch Slim line carbon filter. It also eliminates contaminants up to 5 microns. This is a pre-filter for the next stage.
